Club selection, while taking the 6,300 feet above sea level elevation into account, is paramount if you want to avoid the steep banks, bunkers, and native areas that surround most green complexes. The 13th hole is a spectacular 227-yard par 3 where the tee shot falls more than 200 feet down to an oblong green fronted by Trout Creek and rugged native terrain. The hole plays two-to-three clubs less than normal, but pay attention to the pin location and adjust club selection accordingly. Take a deep breath, clear your mind and concentrate on the shot on this breathtaking and dangerous par 3.
