One Planner. Every Destination.
International golf logistics — tee time ballots, overseas lodging blocks, multi-leg transportation, currency, group contracts — are exactly what GTHS does every day. The same model that covers Reno covers St. Andrews. You make one call. We handle the world.

Plan Any DestinationInternational Golf FAQ
Does Golf the High Sierra plan international golf trips?
Yes. GTHS has planned golf trips to Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, and other international destinations beyond the Sierra Nevada. We use the same one-contract, one-deposit model for international trips that we use for Reno and Lake Tahoe — one GTHS contact handles all logistics.
How much do international golf trips cost through GTHS?
Scotland trips start from $8,216 per golfer based on a real documented trip (Kingsbarns, Old Course, Fairmont St. Andrews, 5 nights). Ireland starts from $7,750 (Royal County Down, Royal Portrush, 9 nights). Portugal starts from $1,349 (Oitavos Dunes, Monte Rei, 5 rounds). Prices vary based on group size, season, and courses selected.
Which international golf destinations does GTHS cover?
Documented real trips include Scotland (St. Andrews area — Kingsbarns, Old Course, Fairmont St. Andrews), Ireland (Northern Ireland — Royal County Down, Royal Portrush, Ardglass), and Portugal (Cascais, Algarve — Oitavos Dunes, Monte Rei). We are adding destinations continuously as our team plans new trips.
How far in advance should I book an international golf trip?
International trips require more lead time than domestic. For Scotland and Ireland during peak season (May–September), we recommend starting 9–12 months out. Portugal can often be arranged in 4–6 months. Tee times at Royal County Down and Old Course St. Andrews use a ballot system — early planning is essential.
Can GTHS combine an international trip with a Sierra Nevada trip?
Yes. We have coordinated multi-destination itineraries. A common pattern is a Reno or Lake Tahoe trip combined with a travel extension to Scotland or Ireland for a larger group celebration or bucket list trip. Tell us your vision and we will build the itinerary.
Beyond the Sierra?
Tell us your destination, your group size, and your bucket list courses. We build the itinerary, secure the tee times, and handle all logistics under one contract.
