What's the minimum group size for a GTHS group golf package?
We handle groups as small as 8 players. For anything smaller, we recommend our custom golf packages instead, which are better structured for 2–7 travelers.
What's the largest group you've coordinated?
Our largest events have been 144-player shotgun tournaments at ArrowCreek and Red Hawk. For events over 200, we coordinate multi-course days across nearby venues. Network of 28 championship courses makes almost any head count feasible.
Do you charge a booking or coordination fee?
No. We earn commissions from our partner courses and hotels, so you pay the same rates you would booking direct — with all the coordination handled for you. No hidden fees, no marked-up rates.
How does billing work for the group?
Three options: one contract billed to the organizer, split billing per player through a private booking portal, or hybrid (organizer pays golf + hotel block, players pay individually for rooms and extras). We match your preferred structure.
Can you coordinate non-golf activities for our group?
Yes. Spa packages, lake cruises, Lake Tahoe excursions, casino experiences, private dining, and transportation are all part of what we build into group packages. Particularly useful when some attendees don't golf.
How early should we book for peak season?
June–September peak: 4–6 months ahead to lock in preferred courses and hotel blocks, especially for groups over 24. Shoulder season (April–May, October) is often bookable 6–8 weeks out. Large tournaments at premier courses (Edgewood Tahoe) need 6+ months.
